What would be more telling is the join date. I am new and don't have many(mainly learning, don't have much to contribute at this point) post but joined before the contest started. I'm curious how people people signed up just to try and win.

Overall I imagine this contest has brought a lot of new knowledge over to these boards. I have been browsing these forums for a couple years now, but have never joined as I have nothing really to add at the moment. I don't own an AR (yet) so my knowledge is really limited on the subject. I have been planning on buying an AR for years now, but being a poor college student I haven't been able to make the plunge quite yet. Just about done school though, and a KAC sr-15 will be mine shortly, also looking to purchase a NHC GRP 1911. Already have it all planned out, thanks to forums such as this one!

This contest was the final push for me to join these forums, and I hope that I can contribute positively after my AR purchase(s).
