All,
We would first like to thank you for your support of RCS over the years. We are expanding faster than ever, and have some really exciting things on the horizon.

Since day one, we have had to be extremely fluid in adapting our production, shipping, and other processes to meet demand and maintain a fair pipeline for everyone who has an order in.

As those of you with orders nearing completion know, we are currently behind our quoted lead time by 2-3 weeks. The delay isn't for lack of production. Our guys are building, finishing, and shipping more orders than they ever have before.

Our current delay is based on customers adding items to their orders throughout their lead time. The previously quoted 12-13 weeks for production was based off the figures of orders currently in the pipeline, and an average of new orders coming in per day.

What has happened is a major increase in customers adding items to their order before it makes it through the process. Sometimes they are adding gear for their friends who don't want to wait, and sometimes they just simply realized they should have ordered more gear at the beginning and don't want to wait in line again. The increase in order size has disrupted our lead times quite severely.

Effective immediately,
- You may only add holsters or modular carriers to your order within 10 calendar days of submission.
- You may add belt loops, hardware, or Vanguards at any time.
- You may change the style, color, or specifics of your order until it has been printed for production.

- The first order modification can be made free of charge. The second modification will carry a $5 processing fee, and every modification after that will carry a $20 processing fee.
- No fees will be assessed to change billing or shipping information.

Our new lead time estimate is 16-18 weeks. Some orders will ship quicker (though you never hear about those ones), and some may ship slightly after. Our lead times, as always, are estimates. Please understand we are working as hard as we can to get every order out the door.

We do not expect our lead time to remain as it is for too long. Once we have a handle on the current 'lump' of orders that are in or near production, we are confident that our staff and our ever-improving production methods will allow us to speed up our process even more. As eluded to above, we have some very exciting things coming in 2011.

Again I would like to thank our loyal customers, and our potential ones, for understanding our situation. Everyone here is dedicated to getting the best gear we can out to you as quickly as we can. We have created this business from word of mouth advertising, and are proud of the kind words our customers have spread for us over the years.

As is always our goal, open and clear communication is our number one priority. Thank you for reading this rather wordy update, I feel it will provide the necessary background details to explain our position.

If I can be of further assistance in any way, please post to our Facebook page, or email us via the "contact us" link on our homepage.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

Tom Fineis
