MI sights?

I'm using a few MI front flips (& troy rears), currently w/o issue,as I like the following features:
- doesn't obscure the optic view on the high railed 416
- square a2 post ... not a big AK/Troy front fan
- low pro, less snag-able
- front flips up simply w/o needing to activate a release
- locks up when up

Has anyone had problems with the helicoils popping out?

I had this happen on some GG&G & another makers rear BUIS's years ago...

I havent has any problems with MI's and i run them on quite a few guns. Call Troy over at MI or drop him a email he is a good guy and will get you a new site. I havent found any better CS than from MI.

Let me clarify:

I am, thusfar, having NO PROBLEMS with the MI products, and don't want to mistakenly disparage a vendor on the www.

Just asking if others experienced helicoils working loose on BUIS's. Previously I've had two BUIS's (not MI manufactured) helicoils come loose. I was wondering if it was commonplace? Possibly, I just had bad luck &/or the fellas gorrilla tightened screws......

I had a MI rear BUIS fall apart after about 700 rounds. I can't tell you exactly what broke first because some parts were lost in the grass never to be seen again.

I replaced it with a Larue and never looked back.
