And don't make comments about the glass. I stole it from my wife's AR in the mean time till I can get a MK4 on it. And yes the OPS Inc brake is way too shinny.
Still playing with the idea of throwing the UBR stock on and maybe throwing a PA Micro Dot on a 45 offset. We'll see, for right now I've tapped out all my funds and couldn't be happier.

Kept the Mark 2 from my EBR so I have it mounted in a RAMP mount with a PA Mircro Dot on the 45 offset mount. It's an amazing set up. I gets the glass low enough down so that I don't have to utilyze the cheek rest on the PRS so I now have a UBR on it. I'm loving it.

I will prob. camp out at my long range locale for a week after I pick one up hopefully soon:cool:....I finally have the range to truly enjoy this rifle and it's amazing capabilities in the precision and LR dept.

Contact CANDICE at www.tombstonetactical.com to order your LMT308MWS. They have the lowest price on it. Their customer service is top notch! I bought two of these from them and the wait time was very short.
It's a great investment and you'll be very pleased with the performance! As far as distance goes, I've gone to 1000 yards with exceptional results. But you will need a scope that is proven and capable of reaching these distances. Most likely 2k-4k. The nightforce 8-32x56 NXS or higher might be an option for this for pin point accurate target shooting. March makes an outstanding exceptional scope made in Europe. You might be able to google it, I know there are a couple of distributors here in the United States.
They run about 3k and have a 60x & 80x magnification.
Let us know when you get the LMT308MWS?

It seems to feel at home along with some of my others rifles.
I am working on a load at this time. So far I am happy with the results I am getting. A 5 shot group just over an inch at 300 yards using 175 SMK with 41.6 Varget - Fed 210M - Lapua Case.
I can just feel the potential. I have not had much time to apply. Once I get to the range and do a ladder test I will post the results.
It is really hard on my case necks. Leaving some deep dings.

Well no, the super secret squirrel Dark Ops scopes from counter sniper always put two round in the same hole.
Sorry south paw dude, but after ranting about how great they are and then saying you need a $3-4 scope to shoot atdistance you deserved being called out.
Here its my little $400 scoped out Mega that I took out to 700 yards on steel this weekend. No group pics yet as I quickly zeroed and got some quick dope.

Rifle has the Magpul PRS stock, Magpul trigger guard, Troy 13.8" TRX Extreme free float rail, match stage two trigger, and Burris 3.5-10X50 Fullfield II scope. Still need to add a bipod, flip up lens covers, and I am thinking about going with the Magpul angled front grip.
If I decide to get fancy I might put on an one o'clock offset mount and red dot in case the zombies get close up :p

I have since swapped out the bipod for a BR Harris with swivel, and added a Fulton Armory pivoting rail adapter for it.
I've had plenty of ARs, but this is my first AR10, and I will confess that I'm having difficulty adjusting to this rifle and finding a handload that works well in it as it seems to be finicky about ammo from an accuracy standpoint.

Threw on a Badger Ord AR Riser so I can use the scope and rings from my 700. It lowered the glass pretty close to the reciever. It fits alot better then the set up that I had. The Mark 4 vs Mark 2 has better glass and I like the TMR reticle over the MD.
I've been wanting a MK4 on the Mega for some time now but can't justify spending another grand when I don't shoot my bolt gun enough. This works out nicely as I can just swap between the two and dial a few minutes to zero on each.
And of course a pic of my son being like daddy. He keeps wanting to use his left eye so I had him hold his hand over it.

The scope came off of my Rem 700 with that paint job. It's now a double duty set up, bolt and semi 308. As far as the paint job, it doesn't blend into the back yard for crap. But out on the prairie in SE WY it works decent enough. I've taken the 700 out a few times and it works nice enough.
I do like how the camo paint job came out, but I love this gun! The 308 is just an all around bad ass cartridge and is your GP do it all, top that off with semi auto MOA capabilities, you can't complain.

Secondary optic is a Primary Arms Micro Red Dot. Price can't beat performance on this little unit. It has well over 500 rounds with no shift in zero. I just can't justify spending $500 for a secondary optic. Mount is a GG&G 45 offset

Here's my new LR 308 Oracle, at least that's how it started out. I replaced the stock collapsible carbine buttstock with a rifle length tube - spring - rifle buffer, and added the Magpul PRS stock. I took off the stock handguards and gas block and put on a low pro gas block and Apex free float handguards and also replace the grip with a Magpul MAID grip (fits my hand better). I also put a Gunfighter charging handle in it. I replaced the flash suppressor with a Battlecomp BABC muzzle brake/flash suppressor. Last but not least I bought a Vortex Viper HS 5 - 15X44 scope and mounted it in a Burris PEPR mount. I bought the rifle on Monday and finished it up Sunday night. If the weather stays nice I'll be able to get to the local 100 yard range on Wednesday and try it all out, can't wait to get some rounds down range!!! The quality on the rifle is extremely good, fit - finish - and workmanship are great. I did a lot of research before buying the DPMS and the user reviews for the 308s was excellent and they all seem to be very accurate for the money. A winning combination in my book. I've got about $2,100 in it and it's now the way I wanted it to be. I'm glad it's only a range gun, it tips the scales at 12.5 lbs. I'd hate to pack it thru the woods hunting!!!!!! :D

UPDATE: Here's a couple of targets using facorty AMAX and TAP FPD both 168 grn bullets. The four shot group in the TAP bullseye measures .625". The 3 shot group in the AMAX target bullseye measures .64" and the group to the bottom right measures .7". All measurements are center to center. Not bad for a $1100.00 rifle. If I was a better shot the groups would be tighter. But at 64 I'm not the shot that I used to be. It's a fun gun to shoot!!!! I also put a JP Bennie Cooley muzzle brake on it. Does a great job of recoil reduction but it is LOUD.:laugh:

I think the CQBSS is the best optic ever made for a battle rifle or even an AR15. Its a bit heavy and a little expensive. However, the optics are superb, the reticle is great, and its a tank.
PredatAR v PredatAR anyone? I ordered the 762 in October in case the election went south - had no idea how lucky I would be to do that.

I'll try. I think that was Travis Haley's carbine. Looks like an Armalite pattern(might be Noveske-marked receivers) with a Noveske 16" barrel. That's an older(no longer produced) Larue rail. CTR stock, MIAD grip, and Troy rear sight with an Armalite 25 round mag. Oh yeah, flaming pig brake.

My plan is to add a SWFA SS 5-20x50 FFP scope, but some serious vet bills right now are keeping me from getting it. Soon I hope. Plus I have the Accu-Washer setup coming from Precision Armament so I can get rid of the black crush washer on the barrel. EVENTUALLY, once the nutties stop panic buying everything in sight, I'd like to move everything over to a MATEN billet upper/lower set.
Otherwise pretty happy with it, but the true test will be in the next few days when I can squeeze in a trip to the range to try 'er out.
Here`s my custom ArmaLite AR-10(A) A4 build with MI rifle length rails and BUIS. Just waiting for the day to shoot it!

Beauty. I have the "regular" MA-Ten, but this design is bloody genius. I wish they still made the tubular monolithic MA-Ten (and the AR-15 version as well).
Those looked awesome. There are a few of them out there. Curious if anybody here has one to post a pic of.

First time I've heard if this. Looks very interesting. Nice to see the forward assist back on a .308 AR again (purely from an aesthetics point of view for me - I like them, even though my MA-Ten does just fine without one).
