Is this considered a more advanced class than Advanced Handgun?

Thanks

Hello Blake, no this class is a step below an advanced class. It is intended for guys coming off their first class and want to step it up a notch.

Yeah, it sounds obvious, but I wanted to make sure since Ken has no entry level course, and many of the topics are the same as Advanced Handgun. Thanks.

RGR, I understand your confusion. I noticed that I accidentally cut & paste Ken's advanced class description. I have edited it out and will have a correct one for this class up shortly.

Just for the record this is Ken's intermediate class. A step up from a basic, but below his advanced. It's intended for shooters who have taken a basic class some place else, have prior Mil or security experience, shoot regularly themselves, or shoot competition but are now interested in taking their shooting up a notch. That being said even a more advanced shooter will learn a ton in this class. I guarantee it.

I'll probably be attending, would like to get a couple of questions out the way first:
Are the knee and elbow pads needed, or just a leftover from the Advanced Course requirements?
How many mags do I need if I'm running an HK45 (10 rounders)? I was able to get through an LAV Level 1 handgun fine with 4 mags, with the exception of one of the drills; do I need more?
Will I need to bring clear eye pro, or is there no low-light section?

Thanks in advance.

* Knee & Elbow pads are completely optional
* Four mags is fine, but obviously more is better. :D
* I would bring it, depending on time we might have a low-light section.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

This was my first class with Ken and he is first and foremost a scholarly individual. I'm not able to pinpoint one thing that makes him a truly outstanding instructor but "the whole package" just flat works for me. I'll attend more courses taught by Ken, God willing.

There was a total of ten (10) students and their experience level ranged from "first time class attender" to guys shooting ~1k rounds per month and many schools underneath them.

Ken's "style" is casual and relaxed, the technical information provided is pertinent to the task at hand and his shooting ability is sublime. His insights on shooting, equipment and some generic details of his past work had me thoroughly captivated.

I loved all of the drills and left Marietta, OH a better shooter; much more thorough.

Thank you, Ken!
