Hello guys, this is my first post in this forum here :)

Why are AR furniture makers(VLTOR, TD, Magpull) shifting from OD green to foliage green? Aside from the fact that it is the dominant shade of the ACU.

It's more effective than OD. From a distance in low light OD and black look pretty much the same. Tan and Foliage work much better. I think Magpul still offers OD.

My ARs are toys, I use tan and foliage mainly because I don't like all black rifles and the chicks dig it ;)

Roger that! At the low light portion of one of my carbean classes anyone with OD or black clothing/gear stood out like a sore thumb against the desert environment.

I use the different colors to identify the rifles at a glance. I even Alumahyded my .22 grey so it would stand out.
