A friend was just telling me about changes made to the 1913 rail interface with STANAG 4694 - if I understood him correctly, it's simply a change in rail tolerances during manufacturing that adds significant RTZ capability when teamed with compliant mounts. He also said that it is completely backward compatible with existing mounts, just without the enhanced RTZ.
Has Vltor given any thought to changing your rail specs to accommodate this new standard?
