Here we go again.
Tried to zero my EOTech 512 today and bottomed out the elevation all the way down and still shooting Wayyyy high (not even on paper kind of high, I had to aim at the dirt in front of the targe just to put shots on paper). Funny thing was that with iron sight, the adjustments were normal.
I don't think the FSB's canted since the windage was good but elevation was radical! What gives?
Thanks for all the help

Are you sure you are turning the adjustment in the right direction. Turn it oposite direction and see if it lowers it. If I am not mistaken you need to raise the rectical to lower your POI.

Ivory, I'm sure, I've turned it both ways.

I had to return two 553's to Eotech because of "fuzzy" recticles.
Thier service was SUPER!!!!!
I followed the instructions on thier website and got an "RA".
Cost of insured shipping to them was on me.
Both units were returned 10 days later.
No complaints here with repair service ;)

First, see if you have it mounted to the rails right. If it is correct, go from there. Since it seems its shooting way high and you bottomed it out in 1 direction, try bottoming it out in the other and shooting 1 shot off, you got nothing to lose, it ain't hitting anything anyways. If that doesn't send the shot low, then send it in for repairs.

Bushfanboy, thanks for the reply. It's mounted on the flat top receiver, not an external rail so I guess the sight's broken?
