After trying out LAV's Rudy Project glasses at a recent class, I decided I'd procure some for myself.
Then I started looking at the Web site and got overwhelmed by the available choices. I don't have any dealers nearby to try any out.
I was originally going with the shooter's kit, but I'm not sure I need that many lenses, and I'm trying to figure out if a photochromic lens would suit me better.
Then I started looking at other frames, and I'm not sure if one is better than the others for shooting. I'm mainly looking at the Genetyk and Rydon frames. For some reason I'm concerned that the break at the bridge/the two-piece lenses on the Rydons will be something of a problem. Then we come to the Rydon Tactical, which doesn't seem to be a part of the shooting kit. I prefer the subdued logos if possible, though it's not necessarily a deal killer for me. I also don't know if there's a difference in thickness between the temples on the two different frames—I prefer as thin a temple as possible for comfort under earpro.
I think I'm leaning toward the Genetyk kit, but it's pricey even with a discount, so I'm wondering if the advantages over the Rydon kit makes it worth it beyond just the photochromic lenses.
Any guidance in this matter would be most helpful.
