I just installed a LaRue 10.0 on a CMT upper with a Noveske 10'' barrel. Everything has been tightened down per the LaRue instructions as well as instructions I've read online, however, the rail isn't locked up tight as I assume it should be. The handguard wiggles about a millimeter to both the left and the right. I have a feeling I didn't do something correctly, my Samson and KAC handguard systems don't have any slop in them at all. Could the play in the rail be caused by not tightening down the barrel nut to it's limit? Any suggestions as to what I did wrong installing the handgaurd would be greatly appreciated.

The barrel nut should have between 50-80 pounds of torque. Then install the rail and tighten down the handguard nut (20-30 lbs). Next, tighten the two anti-rotational key screws.
That is is. If you have any wiggle, then you most likely did not get the rail to fully seat up against the barrel nut and then did not tighten down the HG nut enough.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll be taking it down and double checking everything.
Update: I had already taken it down once before posting, but after redoing it a third time and making sure the rail was completely seated with the barrel nut everything is nice and snug. Thanks Grant.
