View Full Version : Monolithic Rail Platform that can house a suppressor

Are there any Monolithic platforms that have a rail opening lager enough to house a suppressor inside?

Only ones I know of are Vltor, LMT and Mega and from the research I have done nothing will fit.

Thanks for any intel.

that a one piece design like the Vltor MUR? I thought the BAR was just a rail....

I'm looking for a one piece design if one exists.

I don't know of any monolithics that are big enough.

I think it's pointless for 5.56 myself. The rail over the silencer will heat very quickly to a temperature you will not want to be holding.

Further, i couldn't agree more with this.

Also, the top 5.56 cans have some sort of locking mechanism that you need to be able to manipulate to remove the can, might be tough or impossible with a rail

Also the barrel would have to be so short to get a suppressor under the rail that the suppressor wouldn't be effective. IMHO.
