We have been getting more and more requests for LMT lower parts kits so we finally decided to put one together. He have left out some of the parts that are often not wanted and or needed. This helps keep the cost down. We will stock them though as seperate items for those that want them.

Below are some prices and specs for those interested.

We can do that.

With that said, I would think about if you really need it or not.

If you do shoot lefty, just use your left index finger to sweep the selector.

I have a left handed son and will not setup an AR in an ambi config because we live in the a right handed world. So almost any AR he ever picks up, will be setup for a right handed shooter. I don't want him having to look for the selector all the time.

How about a fire control kit like this one?

http://www.brownells.com/Images/Products/160311100.JPG

I'm thinking that it would make a good upgrade package or some folks may just need to replace some worn parts.

Curious as to the higher price

Is the quality that much better than say Stag or a RRA LPK ?

All those items are in stock (use LMT parts and KNS precision ground trigger and hammer pins). There is a pic of these items in the first photo.

Yes the quality is better than Stag and RRA. As someone that has installed hundreds of SA LPK's, I can tell you that they are "pretty good", but not the best.

Think of LMT LPK's as equal too Colt's.

They tend to be in the $130 range.

If you could get them, Colt would be it IMHO. You can of course order every small piece via Brownells, but believe the cost to be around $150 (or more) for it. My second choice would be LMT.

If KAC makes a lot of the components in house, I would be interested in seeing those as well.

Grant-
Are you referring to Colt non-mil - large hole fgc? Or can you buy "standard" size pins/fcg?

I guess I am asking if we can get apples from an orange tree.:(

The pins you are talking about are a very small part of a quality LPK. So you can compare apples to apples if you leave out the difference in pins sizes.

What, do you do this for a job or something?;)

I thought about that a few minutes after smashing the submit button. Typing without engaging the brain housing group, sorry.

Have these items been added to the website yet? Looked in the LMT section and didn't find them. Do you have them listed elsewhere? Link if possible.

I'm trying to place an on-line order.

Grant, I suspect I will eventually need four of these. Got some lowers I need to fill. The first one however, all I need is the trigger group itself. Is this a possibility? If so how much?

Thanks.

Alright!!

Glad to see this.

Next year which is fast approaching I'll be doing a build, maybe 2.

And while it's gonna be a piece at a time thing I'd much rather get everything to do the lower at one time.:)

Plus I'd rather use LMT parts.

Sorry Grant, yea I saw items as orgionaly posted, but I was interested in the FCG as posted above. I have an old Sendra Arms that had a LPK of questionable partenage. Over the years (and yearsabd years) I have replaced some of them, but would like to re-build it.
