6921 Lower?

Is there any place I can purchase a Colt 6921 lower from? Are the lowers always on the NFA registry as SBRs? The reason I ask is I live in Washington state and cannot own an SBR.:( I know it sounds a little ridiculous but I am not a real fan of the "Colts Law Enforcement Carbine" markings on the 6920s. If it is not possible or not feasible than it's no biggie, just checking.

There were a few sold that were taken off the SBR registry. There was one for sale on Sturmgewehr in the last few days.

Be prepared to pay.

It's probably not worth it because I don’t think I will pay much over what a normal colt lower is worth. But we'll see if the price is right or not. I guess at the very least it would be unique to have a “M4” marked lower.

Ken Elmore and Tina at SAW (www.specializedarmament.com) sell Colt 6921s on Form 4s I don't know if they'll have just the lowers. Give them a call.

If you have any dealers out of state that will do this, you could buy a 6921 at an out of state dealer; sell the upper on here or TOS, then probably pay the dealer a fee for his trouble and have him remove the lower from the NFA registry?

I talked to Josh at Clydes armory and he said they will be getting some instock soon that are off the NFA Registry... Here's the kicker, 800 bucks:eek: . I guess I will check with SAW.

SAW Doesn't sell the 6921 lower by itself. I've asked before.
Only the complete rifle.
