As Sean Connery might say,

"The game is afoot!"
They prob cost more than my AK :D
I pleaded with them and I begged them for years to sell just one of their AK RAS's.
I pleaded and begged with Cold Blue on Arf several times to see if there had been any change in their policy regarding the release of these. It was always met with failure.
Last year I gave up and bought a Brugger and Thomet rail system for the AK that DSA imports.
Now they freaking embrace the civilian side of sales and realease the Goddamn AK47 RAS.

I need to check them out first-hand. From the looks of it, they don't seem to offer anything over the UltiMAK system besides weight savings.
But the really good news is that respected companies are starting to take the AK platform seriously.
After years of trying, I went with a B&T rail as well.
A few random things that I've heard:
- Only a few prototypes were made.
- None were ever sold.
- Bottom half is made from plastic.
- Their CNC machines are still programmed for them.
Of course, I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity. :D

I just inquired about them with WES at MSTN. He said only 6 prototypes were made - more rare than most KAC parts I guess.
Spooky
This one is new and different from the previous version...
III or coldblue here can give an accurate timeframe as to release.

I'd only be interested if it permited some form of co-witness.

Supposedly LaRue is coming out with an Aimpoint mount that attaches to the side optic rail and allows for (just barely) co-witness over the receiver cover. This in conjunction with the KAC setup might work out well.

Interesting - hopefully one of them will chime in to give us more info.

I'll take KevinB and Altav's word on KAC gear! Almost as good as Coldblue or III!
