Kind of a rude website. I probably don't need one... but that doesn't mean a paragraph long explanation of what it is wouldn't be interesting.
A sling that is configured in such a way that you can attach it to a rigger's belt? I guess for extra retention?

We are not really known for our political correctness. haha.
It is for supported shooting position. not meant to go with the run of the mill carbine. more directed at SASS style weapons that will be shot off of tripods and such.
I guess the idea is that having the tension point being based off of your torso, rather than your tricep as on a hasty sling, is going to result in more consistency?

its about building a triangular geometric support structure. hooking low causes less contact points on the weapon that could create small shifts. it also allows you to put your entire weight into the system locking your position and weapon in place.
Hmm, I've been eying the Amentum Husky for a while... But this is intriguing. I'd probably still get the Husky as a general purpose, but this new one might be neat for the range.

Here is a little more information. (http://jerkingthetrigger.com/blog/2011/11/30/ares-armor-amentum-lr-sling/)
Hmmm indeed.
Would one of these with the Kong 'FROG' end buckles make sense, or could I custom order one set up like that?
The setup pictured is exactly how I was looking to do longer range shooting, and I think the addition of a quicker release buckle might be a real winner there.

We have tried this exact set up in testing. We found that the Kong 'FROG' is quite a big piece of hardware to have on a sling and doesn't release under tension. That's why we chose the snap shackle. But remember we are a custom shop and will make it any way you would like to run it.
