Just noticed a vertical grip/ tac light/ laser for sale on hkparts.net. It claims to have 700 Lumens of output yet it's only $179.99...... considering the Surefire M900 series is rated at a max output of 225 Lumens and is 2-3 times more expensive....what say you?

Is it possible they are simply quoting the wrong measurement, and not actually referring to its Luminous flux number? Or do you think its just a load of horse manure....

If its true, I'd imagine the aviary swine are winging their way to the snow ball fight in hell right about now...

It's possible, but every manufactures has their own lumen rate.

With 4x primary batteries and any of the newer LEDs it would be easy to get 700LED lumens, which is like 450ish out the front. Basically still really bright.

However lumens does not equal quality...
