The Ak 74 style muzzle Compensator

How do you feel about the Ak 74 style muzzle device on Ak style weapons. I know you mentioned on Tac Arms that you do not like muzzle breaks on fighting guns. But you have also said that you understood why the Russians put one on the Ak 74 and its variants. Or the AK 100 series variants. Is it something you would replace with a flash hider if available? I am a traditionalist so I would keep my AK 74 style rifles with the original compensator. That being said if it was my primary go to gun I would put a flash suppressor on it- I use rapid aimed fire and not burst so the advantages of a compensator on that weapon are not needed. The Soviets ( now Russians) arent very concerned about flash giving away their position, obviously, and in a conscript army I see their point.
