To all our forum friends,
Thanks so much for all the input, fellowship and fun in 2011. I promise that we have a lot of exciting things in store for 2012, some that have already been "outed" here on the forum and some that haven't.
This is an exciting time for Wilson Combat. This has been a good year for our business in light of a weak national economy and even weaker local economy here in AR. As we make strides to improve and grow our business and improve our products, there is usually a new tax, regulation or surcharge that makes it less than easy. Remember us at election time!
We are adding more people, more machines, new processes and a better interface (web site) in an effort to better serve you. We have also built some new industry alliances and have stepped up our game in customer service and in final inspection in the gun shop. We are building more parts than ever before under our roof. These are all very good things.
I am going to have to warn everyone in advance-handgun deliveries will be protracted during this busy time. The days of a CQB in 6 weeks are over. Please bear with us and understand that we have literally thousands of custom options now and features that no one else in the industry comes close to offering. The sheer conundrum parts inventory is a superhuman endeavor-we have over 1200 SKUs and keep on going.
We also continue to make a major commitment to the custom AR-rifle business in a significant way with more parts, options and the best rifles we have ever built. Since rifles require far less handwork and fitting, we can supply one fairly quickly in comparison to a custom handgun at this time. Between barrels, rails, receivers and trigger units, we have a top-quality Wilson part available for almost any AR shooters need.
So in short-thanks for being there for us. Without you all we are nothing.
In the constant evolution and improvement that defines Wilson Combat, you all play a large part in shaping the future of the business.
