Never heard of these guys do they make stocks or complete weapons systems?

So besides the stock and the FH, WHAT exactly on this gun is made by Vltor and who makes the other stuff? The top rail doesn't appear to be marked Vltor, and I can't make out any markings on the handguard rail system.

Very nice. I've been waiting for their stuff to come out for a couple of years now.
They make both a modular chassis and a complete weapon system..check out the ASW338LM, it uses a Rock 5R barrel:cool:

I think I saw that either Surgeon or GAP was going to be using these chassis on their builds.
Most of that is by a good friend of the company, Marc Krebs of Krebs Customs.

FYI, Vltor and FNH have extensions too.
I think I saw that either Surgeon or GAP was going to be using these chassis on their builds.
GAP
Surgeon will use the new AI chassis.

Thanks for the new SBRs I understand - I think - how much of a PITA this is.
The KAC lowers are still E3 ''ambo'' lowers right?
If they don't come with the integrated swivels will they come with the KAC endplate?
That monolithic-looking rail system, that's the one where you can change out the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock rails right? Anyone know if they bought the rights to it or just license it? IIRC that system was crazy fat in the 3/9 o'clock dimension even with the low-profile panels in place.
Did HK have anything to say about an actual release date? I read on HK Pro that Shot would have the info.
they come with the KAC endplate?
Yes they will
How much does the super lightweight carrier weigh?
The Medium carrier weighs about a pound empty. I'll have to wait till I have the first production articles in hand before I know exactly where they wind up.
Also, those drink tube/router/keepers look like they were made to attach a chest rig similar to the Mayflower setups.
Those are a little too high on the carrier to mount a chest rig. Our Ten Speed Chest Rigs (as well as the Mayflower Rigs) could be clipped in using a male ITW repair buckle on the chest rig and a female side mount repair buckle on one of the rows of MOLLE webbing. We'll have the proper buckle kits up on our website shortly.
Stephen
That sling looks great, did they say how much and when?
Thanks Again
Thanks! It's still in development, but we hope to have them for sale in the 2nd quarter assuming that our testing goes the way we expect it to.

"HK MR series rifles components manufactured by Daniel Defense"
Upper, Lower, piston, bolt assembly?
I understand the barrel is mfg. by HK and finished in the U.S. and that the handguards are built by DD.
Nice pics, I am liking the long rail 416. Its funny to see Hk , made in Columbus, Ga. on the receiver of the MR series. I might have to make a few calls to C-town to get the scoop.

Stephen,
Any rough estimates of price and availability of the new single/two point sling?
It should be a matter of weeks on both the VC-74 and VC-88.
VC-74: 22mm threads w/ expansion chamber for increased backpressure, especially handy for SBR's, 5.56/5.45 caliber only.
VC-88: HALO Adapter/Flash Hider designed specifically for 5.45 Tantal rifles, M14x1 LH standard AK threads, compatible with .22 or .30 caliber rifles.

PRI developed a new single lever quick detach scope mount, the mount is secured by two clamps which are activated by one signle lever that is spring loaded. the spring retention on the lever are very heavy, so accidental release of the lever is less likely. this single lever concept is very innovative and the track ring version allow the scope mount to suit any size scope.

I would wager that the vast majority of the wailers and gnashers of teeth on TOS have neither skill nor knowledge.
They want a new gizmo and they want to be the first one to post pictures of it on the Internet so they can win the adoration of the faceless multitudes.

Because buying the latest and greatest is easier than the dedication and commitment needed to become reasonably proficient.
As Col. Cooper said "Owning a handgun doesn't make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician." It should be required that anyone purchasing a firearm read this quote and sign their name under it. Might help things a little.
Probably not; back to reality...

Who cares about sailors. I know my own skill level and I also like to have every edge I can get. Take the good throw out the bad. There is a backward mentality among a lot of people in the firearms industry that thinks if its new it must be bad.

I just wonder with a price tag on the same realm as the S&B 1-8, can this scope from Leupold actually survive on the market place without some sort of military contract?

the new Glock finish really sucks. Why did they mess with perfection
Officially Glock stated the finish is the same, from my understanding and also test report from a large Southern California PD, the finish has some changes, but changes for the better, it is even more durable, so if Glock made changes to the finish(wink, wink) it is for the better.
Great pictures.
Do you know how much that new QD scope mount is going to go for?
It's not a blooper, it's an Easter Egg!?!

Looks like a plastic body, I wonder what other differences are there. Hopefully it will be in the sub-$200 range, I'd love to put that on my 15-22, so it will match XPS on my 5.56 gun.
Yes, any more info on this .22 model. Does it attach to a Weaver/Pic rail or a drilled and taped receiver ? Would be great if this would work on my SW 15-22.
Who cares about sailors. I know my own skill level and I also like to have every edge I can get. Take the good throw out the bad. There is a backward mentality among a lot of people in the firearms industry that thinks if its new it must be bad.

I could not agree more!
First, if the new widgets make you faster and give you an edge in a fight for your life than GET IT! If it doesn't work, toss it and call yourself the guinea pig.
Second, I can not believe how some gun enthusiasts (not only gun enthusiasts) stick to the same items. I have seen many a company poop the bed so to speak and people stick by them and buy the garbage they put out because the company USED to make quality stuff.

An MR556 with long rail sounds good to me.

Are they still going with a non-chrome lined barrel and non compatible with select fire lowers?

"sailers" should be "wailers". but nice job missing the point. again. and focusing on insignificant minutia. again.
If there's any sort of backward mentality it's that of the "if I buy this one more XYZ I'll be able to shoot like the guys on 3 Gun Nation!" What most of us are reacting to is the preponderance of gun owners that are not even attempting to be shooters, and the further preponderance of folks attempting to be shooters by purchasing accessories that they think will make up for lack of ability.
Intelligent accessory selection can certainly enhance already established skills, but no amount of "widgets" can make a shooter out of a gun owner. Only instruction, ammo, and practice can do that.
Is it their money to waste? Of course it is. Is it their business if it makes their girl-parts moist to have all that shit collecting dust in the safe? Of course it is. But a quick breeze through just about any interweb forum and you'll find these same dipshits doling out advice to others on what widget to buy, with absolutely NO actual use of said widget. Or, as in the case of the thread on TOS, bitching and moaning that the widget they are due, in this case a widget they don't even know exists, is being kept from them.

As for the sailor/wailer comments. I had no idea what you meant as I can't read minds. I have no idea which thread you are talking about. Based on your reaction I must have offended you in some way and for that I apologize. Now back on topic.
Just as there are people seeking new widgets to make up for ability there are people so stuck on tradition and the past they can not see improved gear even when it slaps them silly in the face. I remember my first rifle class as a rookie cop. The instructor talked about how bad optics were and how much of a waste it was to put them on a patrol rifle. Now they are universal. Law enforcement personal especially in the firearms community are way way too slow to change and adapt to new technology. It usually takes cops dying before it happens. So I understand where you are coming from I hate equally those old timers and their young followers who refuse to see something better (technique or gear) because it does not fit into their narrow minded (ie slow stubborn) way of thinking.

Thanks its good to see others who have a sane view of the gear vs training issue and how they are not exclusive to each other. You can have good gear and train despite what some may say.

As usual, great pics and thanks. Whats the make/mfg. on the messenger bag?
Not to derail this thread any more than it already is, but, I was involved in a bank robbery and shooting on 30 Dec 10. I was a responding officer from the neighboring town and I had about a 7 minute response to the area. I could hear the shots being fired over the radio and I began to get a bit scared. It was the holiday and there were several officers on vacation and I was only the third car on scene. What got my mind ready for the fight and away from the fear was the fact that I had my own rifle fitted with all the gear that works best for me and just the day before, I had ran about 400 rounds out of it and another 200 out of my secondary. I thought to my self, "This is why I train and this is why I spend so much time and money on my gear". I took a few deep breaths and charged in.

If you order a 16 inch 300 AAC BLACKOUT upper from AAC it will come with a 12.5 inch KAC URX-III rail. They are expected to ship in March.
Easter Eggs are hidden additional levels, added features, jokes, or items designed to amuse to elicit comments that are embedded in computer programs or games. Little too far afield, I guess.
Me too - that is really the only thing I wanted to hear about, after last year's show.
.
I saw a picture from the SHOT of a NF scope that NF had mounted like that to be able to mount a RDS very low on top of the scope.
...I think it was NF...

I keep thinking that this (and every other) PDW concept really depend upon a select-fire capability to reach their full potential, but you might be on to something. I know that we explored some of the possibilities with the KAC system a year or two ago, and at the time, it was still rather difficult for me to envision a role for it as a semi-automatic SBR firing a proprietary cartridge.
Perhaps I reached that conclusion too soon.
AC
I think an MP7 needs to be full auto more than a KAC PDW.

Concur, though I think my line of reasoning was more based upon old concerns with systems like the P90, since PDW-class cartridges obviously all have their limitations. Some are obviously worse than others in this respect, though the 6x35 does seem to bring more to the table than most.
I'm left to wonder if it might be time to go dig up that old post, and see just how feasible any of this (semi/SBR PDW) really was in terms of availability, and if so, what the projected costs were/are.

Just thought Id throw this out there...Someone stole the prototype Schmidt and Bender 1-8X right out of the SB booth DURING the show. The dummy stock it was on and all. My guess it was a company looking to take it apart to reverse engineer their technology.
Its marked PROTOTYPE so if you ever see one of these marked as such its likely the stolen scope, and SB is offering a $500 credit for info leading to its return. The marking is on the rear bell right where the 1-8X24 marking is.
I guess a couple Manners stocks were also stolen from another booth.

The reason behind the larger mag well, is the recent trend toward polymer magazine has brought forward salute of manufactures, but none of them took the necessary steps to actually face the engineering required to make a proper polymer magazine. since the original 5.56 mag well was dimensioned for a sheet metal magazine, so the problem when building a polymer is to try to fit a thicker wall(polymer) magazine into a mag well that was made for a sheet metal thin mag.

I love the scope lens cap on the grenade launcher, Remington has a sense of humor. I do like the ACR pics.
Was Robbie Johnson there? I hope you had a chance to chat with him.

Nice pics. Who makes the BUIS on the PSD? Cool looking.
Did you by any chance see if Daniel Defense showed off their Flip-Up/Fold Down sights? Is that them in your pics (the FDE sights)?
Thanks

THe ones shown in the pictures that are flip down are Magpul MBUIS sights.
THe ones shown in the pictures that are flip down are Magpul MBUIS sights.
Yeah after giving them a closer look it is pretty obvious that they are the Magpul MBUS. I sent an email and called DD before SHOT and was told that they would have them on display with a hopeful release date by the end of March.
Like what?
The MOE +?
Im fairly certain that is the only product that is not out yet that was never even PROMISED at shot show 2009.
The MBUS II's are the other one but...who cares. :)
I'm still waiting on a Foliage Mid-Length MOE handguard. Seems like they usually release products in Black, FDE, FG then OD, in that order. Seems they just skipped FG on this product.

Still no SBR barrels for the 16S I see...lame
I'm with ya on that one VB. I was hoping to hear more from the aftermarket crowd about this as well. The least they could do is offer up a spare 16" barrel assembly et.al. so we could have it modified.

So the polymer 6.8 mag can't be used with any other lower - and the LWRC lower can't use any other mag. Not exactly the best situation.

Geeeesh! What is that... an eleventy five round magazine? :D
Any idea on how much shorter the RE/stock on the new PSD than the standard M4 6 position? It looks maybe 1.5" from me eyeballing the pictures.
Does anyone know if that stock is available in standard length. That is something I would be interested in.
That ambi safety selector looks strikingly like the one that Magpul makes for the FN SCAR. Could a Magpul AR ambi selector be in the works? Too late for me as all of our rifles are now fitted with the Battle Arms Development selectors.

I will be mulling over an SR-15 SBR, but only when available as a middy with the URX ii. That flip up front sight block is grotesque. Love that PDW and the EMC battle rifle in FDE! Who knows what else the future holds.

A full-on KAC E3 upper, or a standard upper with a URXII rail?
AC
DD upper and DD 11.5" barrel with shaved down and pinned FSP with URX II, I love it
Army Chief

Sounds like a great combination; that said, the appeal of a true KAC SBR for most of us is that we're looking for the full SR feature set (URX rail, E3 bolt, KAC hammer-forged barrel).
AC
i have a BCM BCG, the DD barrel is CHF, a good friend has an SR-15 so i get to use both configs, good stuff
Having absolutely no experience on which to draw, I'm one that does not "get" the attraction to a semi-auto only PDW with a proprietary cartridge. Not at all.

Approx. 1" according to Jesse/Jay @ LWRC.
The standard tube will fit as well. It was for a contractual parameter requirement I'm told for the UCIW. Barrel was shortened to 7" as well to make it under 22" total length.
Looks like surefire adapters. In 6.8 what cans can you use on these things and not burn them out?

And it appears that it's a $500.00 credit, not cash reward.
I'm in line for one of these, so if this slows down the release I'll be pissed...that said....500 bucks credit? Wow, ze germans sure are cheapasses on rewards.
Jesus, I offered up a bigger reward for my DOG when he went missing.
$500 in credit ? :haha:

There were several things happening at this year's SHOT that makes me wonder if they won't clamp down on some things next year. They already made the move from Thurs-Sun to Tues-Fri to cut down on some of the weekend tourists, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more/better vetting of attendees in the future.
It may well have been a competitor that took it (I doubt it) but it may be used to push NSSF to further restrict attendance. I've been hearing vendors bitching about the number of tourists that have been attending for years, but NSSF does nothing to stop it because they want the show to look crowded, and the venue wants to sell lots of $5 hotdogs.
My guess it was a company looking to take it apart to reverse engineer their technology.
I highly doubt that. More like some redneck piece of shit who calls it a Smith and Bander and thought it would look cool on his Mini-14.

- Piston AR design that doesn't suck.
- First dual piston design I've ever seen.
- Piston AR design that has a true folding stock that doesn't try to shave a buffer tube or anything lame.
- More energy at 300m than a 14.5'' gun has at the muzzle.
- Hornady would be one of the companies producing 6x35mm ammunition.
- Suppresses well, from what we hear.
- It's from KAC.
That's enough for me to be interested.

Was there any indication that the collapsible stock will be available for the Benelli M4?
The current SBR's are all spoken for (expect three or four).
Next SBR release will have the same upper and the SR-15E3 IWS lower.
I believe we have about 70 of these being built up now.

Are they still going with a non-chrome lined barrel and non compatible with select fire lowers?
non-chrome lined, yes. select fire lower compatability, not sure. neither is a deal breaker for me however. i cannot afford a select fire lower and hk rifle barrels have been accurate and have held up fine, even with countless rounds of full auto through them, without chrome lining.

You guys realize this is 2011 and there are other barrel treatements that are as good if not better than chrome lining?
So HK had all this hardware out to show, even the 25mm, yet the belt feds were no where to be seen.
Specifically, why haven't they went public with the 7.62x51mm HK121 GPMG?
These pics existed in or before October 2010 but cannot be found on any HK website.

I went to the local shop yesterday and they called their distributor, they said the HK was supposed to ship 3 years ago. That gunbroker auction is up to 4 K, I would like one, but I can wait till the price settles.
What length is that rail? 14.5 barrel?

I can't figure out why the hk556 doesnt come with a long rail by default instead of the short rail. Makes no sense.
The Medium carrier weighs about a pound empty. I'll have to wait till I have the first production articles in hand before I know exactly where they wind up.

Stephen,
Thanks man, sounds very lightweight. Do you guys have plans to release soft armor to fit, or will it take standard plate backers?
Also, will these be sized by plate size or body size...or both?

Call me blind, but I really didn't see anything new in the rifles from last year to this year. The VTAC looks nice but appears to be the same from last. Did they offer a middy or anything drastically new this year?
Yes, the handguns look great.

Call me blind, but I really didn't see anything new in the rifles from last year to this year. The VTAC looks nice but appears to be the same from last. Did they offer a middy or anything drastically new this year?
Yes, the handguns look great.
KC
Exactly - where is the VTAC rifle from last year with the 1/8 fluted barrel and Troy handguards? I'm somewhat surprised to see the JP tube still used considering the popularity of the Troy/VTAC TRX Extreme handguard...

I would love to be able to buy a factory civilian G36K and a non-neutered UMP. I'm guessing the G36s shown aren't actually being sold to the public.

Does that mean they're going into standard production, or you're still experimenting with how fast they'll sell in different configurations?

That 13" MWS with a suppressor and good glass would be an epic combo
The drop in MRP 300BLK barrel is a fine example of why the MRP is such a good buy.
Though, if there is one thing I would like to see LMT do, it would be the introduction of an ambi MWS lower in 5.56 form.

What made a factory SBR possible in the first place was the fact that KAC had many of the necessary components on hand as New Old Stock items, and exhausting the current supply of original pattern uppers is almost certainly the priority here. Once those have been depleted, all indications are that future SBR runs will conform more to current SR series specifications (i.e. the E3/IWS standard).
The only thing we don't know is whether or not these will still be limited/batch-run items, or added to the regular/cataloged product line. What I have gleaned of KAC's manufacturing methodologies to this point suggests the former, but I suppose anything is possible.

What is that thing a 50? Looks cute until you pull the trigger I bet. No 308 ar pattern rifle from them?
I've read somewhere TangoDown will be the distributor
Yes, TD and SOD are still trying to work out the exchange rate so the clothing line could be sold here at a reasonable price.
I heard there was a shoot in Vegas during the show. Anyone here get to shoot them?
Aimpoint hosted a shoot during the Media day...I wasn't invited...sigh!
Yes, any more info on this .22 model. Does it attach to a Weaver/Pic rail or a drilled and taped receiver ? Would be great if this would work on my SW 15-22.
It will bolt to a weaver or picatinny rail.
Not to highjack, but I thought I had read Sabre was in serious financial trouble?
I'm assuming he's making a joke since the label next to the MP7 is UMP45...
Any word on a drop-in LED replacement bulb for older M3s?
So the polymer 6.8 mag can't be used with any other lower - and the LWRC lower can't use any other mag. Not exactly the best situation.
That's like saying you can't wedge an AICS mag into the stock bottom metal of a Remington 700. ;) SOMEBODY gets to make an improvement on things, even if the improvement requires modification or complete replacement of the original platform!
I wonder how bad the accuracy the light weight barrel on the .308 will be. I didn't find the weight of my 16" OBR cumbersome at all. I took it through a 3 day class and it didn't bother me to a point where I missed my 700.
Larue staff stated the PredatAr's lightweight barrel would provide consistent groups of 1 MOA or so. Very impressive rifle. Can't wait to get mine.
.
FWIW
I found what I had mentioned above about the "upside-down scope". It was a Larue and S&B configuration.

VB,
Thats their .308 carrier. I believe it has three vents just like the SR25.
Why...im not sure.

They apparently are. Facing an Article 9 forclosure of secured personal property. I can't imagine a creditor or outside buyer stepping in to save them. No machines and tooling, no production. No production, no Sabre.

A friends Machine Shop in Nashville was just awarded some .mil contracts that they were fulfilling. That can't be a good thing for their long term health. Are they really that relevant anyway? I always thought they were significantly over priced.

I already have a 7.62 OBR, and didn't feel the need for a system without the gas port selector, or sub MOA accuracy, when my OBR heavy was set up for basically being a semi-auto bolt gun (waiting on that short dot).
So I went with the 5.56 16" Predator.
And yes, they're taking phone orders. They said late march/april, and it's 1500 bucks for the 5.56, 2500 for the 7.62.
Comes with OD Magpul MOE furniture.
K, thanks. I was hoping for PredatAR vs. KAC showdown...

Yes, but--as mentioned by SHIVAN--LaRue did it intentionally, and it was over an uninterrupted rail. The Burris (above) is over a bolt-action rifle's action, and it would obstruct the action such that the rifle cartridges could not be loaded/unloaded.
Will it work with the current (ie, "212") mounts?
Yes it will.
I am not sure if the URX 3 is an official KAC creation. I thought I read somewhere that it was just a URX II machined by a third party to remove material and uneeded rail.
No, KAC did two version of the URX-3, one is a Magpul rifle only rail, you can see it in my KAC photo section, the other one which could be available to public is the one you see at the Surefire booth photo I posted above.
Thanks SMGLee. You're the only one I could get a definitive answer from regarding the RACS chassis.
ETA-Thanks for the insider info and pics.
Just so you don't get a sticker shock, the RACS is likely be priced at 2k or more when it is released.
Dear Remington,
FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU. Take the ACR away from Bushmaster and sell us the legit version.
This is due to divisional, labor and manufacturing reason that Remington split the ACR between Remington Defense and Bushmaster. Just so you know, the Remington ACR rail, alloy lower trigger housing, and barrel assembly(including the gas block) are interchangeable with the Bushmaster ACR.
Thanks Chen...for making it to our booth, the party, and posting the pics.
See you next time!
Kevin, you and your crew possibly throw the best SHOT show party of any manufacture, I should thank you for inviting me. look forward to it once more next SHOT. thanks again.

Do the selectors on their ARs ring any bell? ;)
Those are great looking JP rifles.... I meant Remington rifles.:haha:
Im not a larue employee and by no means am I in the know, AND I was only really asking about the 7.62 predatar, but they said they were hoping to ship the 7.62 guns sometime in the summer.
Its appears to be a great rifle for what im looking for --- lightweight, robust, accurate enough. I don't have any measurements but by lightweight I mean LIGHTweight.

Leupold CQT-SS
I just wonder with a price tag on the same realm as the S&B 1-8, can this scope from Leupold actually survive on the market place without some sort of military contract?
The US military has already awarded at least two contracts for that scope. Neither of them are big, but they're out there.
The plates are Protec? Know anything about them? They look pretty thin, so I'm assuming steel/heavy?
The plates are Protec? Know anything about them? They look pretty thin, so I'm assuming steel/heavy?
I think they are sold under Eclipse, and it is a super light weight single hit plate. I asked about this available to commercial market for people that goes to training classes, it would be a great addition to the kit, but the sales person doubt this product will likely be available to civilian market. it is too bad, because it is exactly what a serious student of firearm training would need in a class.
The bolt action rifle and .22LR M&P handgun both look interesting. Their AR line is a disappointment though.

Is there any word on if there is any standard on .300 BLK in regards to barrel twist, gas port size, and gas system length?

That would be tits.

What he said.
Yep, I'd be in on a PDW if you can mod the system to hold a pmag and 5.56 tube...Otherwise, I'll keep waiting for the old stock lowers to sell out and the middy urx ii to be built up. Looking forward to it.

The whole point of the PDW is that it is built around a proprietary cartridge which offers the same or better performance as an AR out of a much smaller platform (and a much shorter barrel). Attempting to modify the weapon to fire 5.56x45 makes no practical sense, even if it were somehow possible in technical terms ... which it isn't.

It doesn't belong in 5.56.
I must say.
A 11.5'', or 14.5'' version in 5.56x45mm with a longer gas system would be just cause for me to never buy a SCAR, AK, or ACR.
But 8'' PDW form... it doesn't make any sense.
even if it were somehow possible in technical terms ... which it isn't.

We may just be getting our wires crossed here a bit. Are you asking what about the PDW prevents it from being redesigned for standard 5.56x45mm loads in conjunction with longer barrel lengths? If so, the barrel length issue is really the least of our problems here.
While I would defer to KAC for a more authoritative answer, I do think that we have to go back to the development cycle of the PDW, in which the proprietary round was developed first, and then the PDW receiver and gas system were designed and optimized to perform specifically with this round. The receiver dimensions, stroke, gas system capacity and bolt mass are all uniquely-tailored to the new round, and rechambering for the NATO load would require significant configuration changes and upscaling that would trade away most of the advantages (i.e. size and weight) of the existing PDW.
More to the point, such an effort would likely result (at best) in an expensive compromise gun that would deliver no more capability than an existing SR-series SBR in a package that was very nearly the same size and weight. Given that existing derivations of the Stoner Rifle already meet the need here quite effectively, it would make no sense to produce such a weapon, even if it could be realized in purely technical terms.
AC
Don't touch anything with the PDW, just bring it to the market...Hornady needs to obviously handle their end.
I have beaten this drum to death now for a few yrs....but I stand by my guns on the fact that should this become an option, I will be first in line with cold hard cash. This was the gun that finally cured me of my affinity for the MP-7A1....given the PDW straight up dominates it in ever respect imho.
This article is maxed with some of the best gun porn Ive ever seen in general and for sure in regards to the PDW.

According to the chats I had at the media day and on the stand during the show there is no firm intent to build the 416C yet - but they will seeing as they have now planted the seed to grow the desire.
A limited quantity (around 6 or 7) were produced in Germany at the request of British Special Forces. The HK staff do not even know if the production run was for internal SF evaluation or whether they had already determined an application for the weapon.
HK now have some pieces still knocking around and decided to see if the market was interested. The tentative idea for a production version would be to change out the stock for the MP5 style collapsable type.
This picture was taken about one minute after the 416C was first unveiled to a group of 4 of us at around 09.15 hrs on media day. No, we were not allowed to shoot it - but I got a hat.
