I'm thinking that the March 10th match might be a possibility. With hockey season winding down I'll finally have some free weekends!

Yup, that kid with a .22 was about that and ended up beating a few adults! It's low stress and beginners are assisted through the courses.

Who is running these matches and are they pistol only matches

Matt, Pistol only, although I think there's a carbine side match next month. It's a partnership between C2 and Aggressive Defensive Solutions. On the link above there's a facebook page that you can get particulars if you need additional information.

Should always be IPSC targets and/or steel, not an IPSC or IDPA sanctioned match. Geared towards getting people started in the sport, even young ones can compete if they wish. All you need is ear/eye pro, a safe holster and at least two spare mags(3 total).

I just wish they could setup the stage where people can't "game" it. For instance ... shooting into the berm at Position 1 and Position 2 then at Position 3 shoot 24 rounds lol
