If delton's upper is out of spec and cuts grooves into the bolt that could be a reason
from what i saw, his bolt looked like my bushy bcg. no differences....ill have to swap them and see if theres any
play in recievers.......is del-ton a good company?
This gets covered here enough..... I'm sure if you use the search function you will find something. ;)
or you can look here:
ARMY TM 9-1005-319-23&P
"Below direct support maintenance, DO NOT interchange bolt assemblies from one rifle/carbine to another. Doing so may
result in injury to, or death of, personnel."
I have done it a couple of times with no issues; YMMV.

The reason is Headspace, most of the time it will not cause a problem, but do you want to be "That Guy"?
Here is an explanation from Fulton Armory:

The rule of thumb is: If you have fired you're existing bolt a whole lotta times, it's going to have fire- formed and mate up better to the existing barrel that you have been firing it with.
I wonder what this means for the people who had bolts from the "bad" Del-Ton batch..."hey six lugs means less friction"
