Because you wanted to. If you're meeting your financial obligations, there's no more reason than that's needed. Nice Glock.
How about think critically about why you did it and why you chose what you chose and get back to us.
Why an RMR over an enclosed emitter?
Why an X300U over a Turbo?
What springs did you change out and why?
I got to try one of those "enclosed emitters" last weekend. Had never heard of them before. But I can say without hesitation, the RMR is the worst pistol sight I've tried. Sight pic always seems dirty, and the tint in the sight pic makes for a frustrating and distracting sight. I mean I fukking HATE the RMR with a passion.
My first two, modern pistol RDs were RMRs. They are/were heralded as the most durable out there.
BOTH of them shot craps in under 2K rds from two different pistols; the emitter lens ejected from one which presented a 50 MOA Super Nova, the other lost Zero and would not dial back for windage or elevation.
I returned for repair to Trij and they took care of issues chop/chop. I put them both on AR9s with no “riding on top of reciprocating mass” issues to worry about.
Thank you Maximus, that gave me a chuckle.
I have a couple and they are not my favs but I have no inherent distaste. With that window you have to choose a gun that points great for YOU. But I'm not picky on my dots and never notice tint and shit like tint. There are benefits to being old, blind and deaf.

And, thank God for THAT PB. : )
Nice Glock by the way.
