There was no difference between the ejection between the old and new ejector. So the non-dip extractor seems to stop 6:00 ejection regardless of ejector. Ejection is still wimpy woth 3-4:00 ejection about 2 ft away from my right foot. (Better ammo ejected better more on this farther down)
I then put in White Sound Defense HREDs in both guns. The unit in the G17L seemed to help get an extra foot or so while it made little difference in the G34. So the G34 went back to the stock depressor plunger.
I tested both guns with the dip extractors and old ejectors and as expected got 6:00 erratic ejection including a left ejection once or twice.
My conclusion is that the non dip extractor seems to help with late Gen 3 guns without having to change the ejector. It's important to note I was shooting PRVI 115 grain ammo, and it's weak stuff. When I switched to Lawman 147 or HST 147 I got strong ejection out of both guns. The better ammo didn't help with the dip extractor only the non dip.
I guess I've tried every combo available from LWD LCI extractors, HREDs, Glock dip and non dip extractors and both 336 and 30274 ejectors.
I may leave them as is now since I"m almost out of PRVI and plan on using Lawman from now on since the price is close. But if I plan on going to Wally world and shooting WWB, I 'll probably spring for the Apex extractor.
I don't know what's going on at Glock but I definatley would not recomend a new Gen 3 gun to anyone. Maybe the Gen 4 is a different animal and my Gen 3 G19s eject like they are supposed to. But I'm very dissapointed in having to do all this just to end up with where I started with just a new extractor that seems to ay least eject to the right.
I would tell anyone with this issue with a Gen 3, try the non-dip extractor only. If you don't get improvement don't put the 30274 in since Glock still claims they are a Gen 4 only part. Instead I'd reccomend waiting for the Apex extractor and not wasting ammo and money trying LW and Glock parts. I've done it for you. There is no perfect fix. Again, I can only reference 2 late Gen 3 Longslides.
