Huh? BCs are WAY less concussive than FSC556s. Been there done that on that comparison on multiple rifles.
And not too many brakes are compatible with A2s? Huh? You mean not many cans are A2 compatible?

I guess I should have said I went from a FSC to a BC because the FSC was way too concussive. The BC was picked because I have a suppressor that is QD with A2 flash hiders and not many comps share their dimensions with an A2. I still didn't care for the BC on the 11.5 barrel because of the concussion.
Better? My english goes way down hill when I post from ye ol'smart phone.
Gotcha - thanks. And yeah, my BC on my 10.5 is nothing nice. Maybe I'll compare that one first with this comp.
I am digging it.
Here it is with the behind the flash hider mount for my Templar Tactical Nemesis30 can.
Goal is to have my cake and eat it too.

Got my AFAB today. Very nice piece and can't wait to try 'er out.
Don't think I'm going to get out with it this weekend, unfortunately.
Did some quick night shooting the other day after helping with a class. I think the blocks on the outside of the blast chamber are contributing to the flash being nearly imperceptible to the shooter. It was slightly dimmer for the shorter than my buddy shooting an A2, on his 16" as compared to my 18".
The AFAB even appeared to be about equal from several angles except perpendicular (90 degrees). I think the blocks on the outside actually hide the minimal flash from off angles. From that angle, the AFAB had a brighter and slightly larger glow than the A2....but only from that angle.
Interesting. I'm still pleased with my purchase.
