"The fore-end allows me to extend my arm out in that weird, I think he might be a little bit special kind of way."
Agreed though. That thing looks mean
Never been much of a "subgun" kind of guy, but I'd look at one of these simply because its cool looking.
I hope CZ updates the pistol to include M-Lock. I want to SBR one, but I'd prefer to wait for an updated version if it's in the works.
Wonder what the .mil/.gov/leo price will be on the integrally suppressed carbine. The pistol EVO through CZ's program is $649. I want one for two reasons, so I can shoot a long arm at my indoor range, and two, the price....you can't beat it.
I have really enjoyed my SBR Evo
Price point is awesome, and it gives me an almost XM8 vibe.
I have been going back and forth between the CZ and the MPX. Does CZ's program cover former .mil? EMS professionals? If so I'll be going the CZ carbine route and SBR'ing it.
My brother in law just got his stamp back for his SBR Evo. Its an awesome gun. Also unless the price went up Im pretty sure he paid 580 for his from CZ first responders program.
Good option for those of us in commie states. I'm still gonna hold out until I move back to NFA freedom land so I can SBR+suppress like all of the other cool guys though.
Shot one of these today with the safety delete kit and a Magpul CTR. Very fun to shoot and ate Tula ammo with no problems. May have to acquire one...

A pretty good intensive thread has been going for a while that's got a lot of good information here https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...r-US-Civilians
The Gen 2 should be out some time next year says CZ. On another CZ dedicated website they have been mentioning that most all production has shifted to .mil contracts. This might likely slow down release of the Gen 2. Also might cause a drying up of Gen 1s till .mil contracts are fulfilled.
I got about halfway through the video; I'm having poor internet connection here making it tough to watch. Was there an expected release date mentioned for the carbine?
I'm not too big on mock suppressors. I wonder how easy it is to change barrels for SBR, or going to the integrally suppressed configuration.
Very nice.
I wonder what this "Gen 2" will entail.
As for the carbines, well done CZ.
I like the new hand guard. I wonder if it will clear the pistol length barrel. That's an upgrade I would quickly make.

Any updates on when these will roll out?
Yep, I am waiting for the thread update and then I am definitely picking one up. They have one at Clyde's that keeps calling to me. It looks like it would be an absurd amount of fun.
I take it that these will probably be updated with whatever changes the gen 2 pistol has(?). I'm also really interested to see what the price will be on these compared to the pistol.
To anyone that has the pistol version: how is the barrel attached? I'm pretty sure the rifles will be the same in that regard. I'm just wondering what the level of ease would be in swapping barrels, whether it will be AR easy, or much more involved like an AK.
Anyone looking for he 922 stock, CZ Customs has them in stock.

Looks awesome. I am hopeful we will see some details on the 2016 version soon.
Already out of stock :(
How is the grip angle? It looks funny, but might just be very comfortable.
Looks awesome. A few questions:
1. How does the cheekweld/eyebox compare to the CZ stock? Is it higher or lower or equal?
2. Can the gun be fired with the stock folded? It looks like the stock covers the ejection port, so I wasn't sure.
3. Can the gun even be fired with the CZ stock folded? Haven't handled the CZ stock since it's rarer than hen's teeth right now.
4. How does your adapter differ from CZ Custom's? I was eyeing theirs up as well, but I can't seem to find it on their website right now.
Thank you for the sneak peek!
Well I've got CZ's 922r kit on order but I'd jump all over this if there's a pre-order for them.
OK, here is my issue. I see no way of using this stock without still having to purchase a $200 922r kit which includes a factory stock that actually works pretty well. That means that I'd have to purchase the rifle ($800+/-), 922r kit ($200), adaptor and stock ($175).
This would be a no brainier if you charged a little more (i.e. $200 to compete with the factory stock kit) and included the other parts to be 922r compliant.
The carbine should already be 922r compliant? Sell the stock and buy this one.
As for the pistol, you can still, at least right now I believe, offset a lot of the cost of the kit just selling the stock.

Deleted.... need more coffee.
That actually looks like it would have the same problem the AK Zhukov has- too much comb height vs. the OEM stock.
Both stocks dip below the height of the receiver to achieve proper cheek weld and eye position, but the Zhukov is straight.
Perhaps maybe in 9mm it won't realign my cervical vertebrae though...
ETA: I guess it might work with a set of AR BUIS and an AR-height optic...
To your questions:
1. Our cheek weld is ever so slightly higher than the CZ, but for most people it is preferable to the factory CZ. It is fully functional with iron sights, and MUCH better when using a red dot (Aimpoint, RMR, MRO, etc.).
2. Yes, the gun can be fired with the stock folded. Brass hits the stock, but clears completely.
3. Yes, the CZ can be fired with the stock folded.
4. Our adapter replaces the Magpul AK interface, whereas the CZ Custom adapter adapts from the AK interface to the CZ. As a result, our adapter has a shorter minimum LOP, fewer parts, and less weight.
