Randy Cain of Cumberland Tactics is offering his Shotgun 1 course at the Southern Exposure Training Facility in Lakeland, Florida on 5 – 7 December. The course covers shotgun patterning with different ammunition, manipulation, loading and reloading, capabilities and limitations of slugs, buckshot and birdshot, movement, firing positions, methods of slung carry and getting the gun into action, and transition to pistol. A combination of paper and steel targets is used. Now that the days are short again, a night shoot is planned for the class as well.
