Is it more concealable than a G19, yes. Is it $550 more concealed, no.
I would also like to see more single stacked variants. I would really love a single stacked 19 sized .45....just a bit bigger than the 36.
I agree. I feel like I get a better grip on the gen4 and 5 without any back strap than a gen3, and I have pretty large hands.
I also think a lot of people would be better off with one middle sized gun rather than a full size for the range and a sub compact for carry.
So Glock is re-inventing the long line of Kahr polymer pistols ?
It's literally 2mm shorter and 4mm thinner with 5 less rounds vs. G19.
What in the actual...

The difference in how my wife can control a Gen5 vs a Gen3 with small hands is significant. I look forward to buying her one of the single stack Glock's in the next year, I think it will fit her hands very well.
I think it's quite possibly going to replace my Shield, and if they are smart enough to make + 4-5 round mags it could end up on nightstand duty.
Maybe Glock is forward thinking to the 10rd states requirements?
Sure, you can stuff a 10rd mag in a G19/17, but those mags have always been a bit temperamental and you are carrying size / weight around that you don’t need to.
Another plus I think Glock will see from this gun is how it is received in restricted mag states like NJ, CA, NY, etc. if your limited to 10 rounds, why not a gun designed for it.
I think it’s a winner for the company, even if it’s not something I’d prefer.
