Already asked but I still need some help.
I understood that the A2 rifle stock and buffer and spring from AR15 would work on AR10 lower receiver.
I installed and the bolt does not lock back. what am I doing wrong?..

The A2 stock and tube work for large frame ARs, but the buffer and spring need to be the shorter AR10 specific versions.

If you manually retract the charging handle, you'll see the BCG won't go back far enough to lock with the current combo of parts.
It should technically work without coil bind, but It may feel sluggish on return to battery.
Check for proper stroke as before, but the higher strength 308 spring is recommended.
Just search for that Armalite spring part number or it's equivalent to find it in stock somewhere.
With the Armalite rifle buffer I would get their AR-10 spring. For Armalite the spring is the same for rifle and carbine.
DPMS uses a shortened buffer in carbine, not sure what they do for rifle.
I know you are trying to use a rifle stock here but factory PSA lowers use a 1/4" longer receiver extension for their 308AR's and then uses a regular length carbine buffer. This RE is also the same length as the Vltor A5 RE's, if so desired.
