I like 50, as it gives the least amount of change in trajectory within the useful envelope of the platform with quick 9mm out of longer barrels.
Here's an easy calculator:

Just don't forget to put in the correct sight height (usually 2.7-3.5 inches for subguns).

I enjoyed that video. I am going to run the same test with Mark this weekend with 50 yard zero. 25-50-100-maybe 200 but not 300. Should be cool test. I'll run some plus P's to keep it real.

Just got back from the range. Started at 25 yards with an eight inch shoot-n-see target. First shot was a direct hit on the 1/2 inch wide red center dot of the target. So I guess CZ thinks the 25 yard zero is where it's at. It was so well zeroed out of the box I decided not to mess with the sights. Great gun and the KAK Shockwave Blade is a great product. Now I just need some trigger springs to help this spongy mess out.

I️ haven’t changed my sights at all either. I️ have shot it out to 150 yards. At 100 yards with my suppressor I️ can hit a 6” plate every shot. I️ just aim at the top of the plate.

I've been using 50 with a Tavor in 9mm (so a bit more barrel length than most SMG's). No issues with holds; everything within about 45 or so gets put in the bottom half of the EOTech's ring and past 50 there's minimal rise.

My Zenith dead nuts on too. I took it to an indoor range to sight it in and was done after first shot. Must be something about design that enables such consistency.

I guess I was lucky, my MKE Z5RS was clearly zero'd by a Stormtrooper. On a Friday afternoon. After getting his pink slip.

When I worked for HK ITD we zeroed the MP5s at 25 yards. Puts you about 2" high at 50, on at 75 and 2" low at 100. Pretty much covers the entire useable distance for a sub gun. I have done the same with my Evo and found the numbers to work out very similarly.
