In discussing the use of a suppressor on a 11.5” barrel everyone I talk to seems to think a heavy barrel will have less POI shift over a light weight barrel. Does anyone here have any additional input? I see that rob_s prefers a Colt light weight. I would like the advantage of about a pound less but am curios about POI shift. Specifics are a Bushmaster 11.5 Bbl and an AAC M41000 can. Not the lightest of the bunch but my choices for a first timer.
