BLUE FORCE GEAR ANNOUNCES MOST VERSATILE SLING CONNECTION YET!
Blue Force Gear, Inc. is proud to introduce the most versatile and effective sling adapter that we have offered to-date: Our Universal Wire Loop. (UWL) has the following features:
SS Aircraft cable withstands barrel heat
Silent alternative to hooks for eyelets
Coated cable prevents damage to connection points
Ambidextrous to the max!!
Fits 1.25 to 1.50 webbing
Super versatile makes many sling connection problems go away.
The sling loop body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet before being tumbled and bead-blasted for a non-reflective surface. The loop is hard-coat anodized before the nylon coated stainless steel aircraft-grade cable is installed with mil-spec ball-shank ends. The result is a sling adapter with limitless uses.
It is a sad reality that some of the worlds most prolific military small arms lack proper sling connection points for combat slings. The M16 rifle is a prime example of a modern combat rifle fitted with sling loops in the wrong location, the bottom of the weapon, for a combat sling. Some weapons dont have functional sling attachment points at all and this causes a fair amount of aggravation and frustration as we try to help shooters sort through myriad attachments and parts available to get combat slings mounted to the sides of their weapons. Our Universal Wire Loop adapter solves these sling connection issues.
