Names of mass shooters

I see that the use of the name of the bunghole who perpetrated the recent school shooting in FL is prohibited here on M4C. I'm OK with this policy, but I see the names of perps from prior mass shootings being used. Why not prohibit the use of names of all mass shooters? I understand the reason for the policy being to deny the perp(s) their 15min of fame, is this correct? I'm not being sarcastic, but I don't see much difference in using a name months or years later, when it was not allowed immediately after the tragic event.

Because for whatever the population on here thinks not discussing events objectively and the entities involved somehow makes the bad people who do bad things go away, at least for a little bit.
