I was reading about short barrel .45 acp bullet performance and noticed that common 230 gr FMJ typically chronographs at 675 to 750 fps from these really short barrels.
We know a 230 gr .45 at 800-850 fps will travel 24-26 inches or so in calibrated ballistic gelatin.
What will the 100-125 fps drop in velocity do to that penetration number?
