Just picked up this Springfield Armory MC Operator and put a few hundred trouble free rounds through it yesterday. Springfield is doing a nice job on these pistols. They are not a custom gun, but they certainly show some quality workmanship, good reliability, accuracy and trigger pull.

Just picked this up. Found it @ Gun Show in Kalifornia. Imagine that, as Jacked up as Kalifornia is.

Got it as is.
Notice factory Ambi's.
Plans to replace two piece guide rod w/ stock and I prefer Straight mainspring housing to arched.
Low mileage...
Wilson Combat CQB 5" w/ambi.

Thanks DM-SC,
I thought so as well.
They are rare as HENS TEETH in Kalifornia in 70 Series variety.
They are NOT on our approved list as Jacked up as that is, so it has to be a private paty transfer or PPT.
I can remember getting a Series 70' Commander for 700.00/800.00 all day long.
Those days are done thanks to legislation by Boxer / Fienstein etc. who BTW all have CCW's.
It will be a struggle for me to keep it stock and not send it to one of my smiths.

Hmmm really,
we must have different math skills.
Parts that were added before I bought it
1) trigger
2) sight (BTW front only rear is stock)
3) Guide Rod
Parts on it that are stock or OEM
1) Barrel
2) grip safety
3) bushing
4) safety locks
5) rear sight
6) All internals
7) Plunger tube
8) hammer
9) magazine
10) slide stop
11) mainspring housing
I count 3 items to 11 items stock.
I'm not going to change the front sight regardless. It is a King's, it is solid and far better than stock Colt's original.
I guess if you say thats "far" we have a difference of opinion of the word's definition...
For ME not far in the least.
