Side NOTE on video. Seems barrel length on Pistols and Revolvers are not measured the same way. Pistol barrel length is measure from the head of the cartridge/breech face. Revolver barrel length is measure from the beginning of the barrel throat.
As a owner of a 4" GP100 in .357 mag, I think having it in 10mm is awesome. Dual cartridge capability makes it that much better.

The Ruger Manual advises against using .40 S&W. Because its a Rimless Cartridge, the headspace is set at the mouth of the case and not a rim. Even with the Moon clips, Ruger said they experienced light primer strikes. Also have to worry about fouling the chamber for the longer 10mm.
Dang, that's a bummer. I always like the idea of a "backup cartridge" if the gun grabbers made the primary cartridge availability difficult.
