I'm looking to change out the rail on my 11.5 BCM to a M-Lok rail, and the Geissele Mk14 looks perfect aside from being an inch too short. Anyone heard if they're going to introduce a 10.5" version anytime soon?

My thought is that there will always be a share of the market that wants a certain rail length, and they probably won't make every single one. I have a 9.5 mk8 on an 11.5, and really it has worked just fine. I would imagine they will stick with the lengths they currently have, at least for now. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, and that would be just fine with me, because I would buy a 10.5" mk8 as well.

People have been asking them for years and unfortunately still nothing. However, Hodge defense makes a 10.75 in rail and it's better than the geissele rails. I own both and use the Hodge rails in my builds when I can find them. Geissele is my second choice.

If it's like asking for a Geissele AR10 rail, it will never happen. Aside from the 7 MK1.5 SR25 rails Bill released last year, we have been hearing "they are coming" since 2013...
I love their rails, have many. If they made more sizes, I would own more. Big fan of the 11.5 SBR too. Its not a big deal for an inch of barrel to be exposed, but I understand what you want.

FWIW in addition to Mega/Hodge SLR also makes a 10.7" rail.
I don't have any experience with those, but people seem to like them.
Griffin's Rigid Rail is like 10.55" or something like that.

I don't not know why this concept eludes Noveske and Geissele. Both do not make a rail appropriate for an 11.5" barrel.
Seems to me that the G Mk4 ore Mk8 in 9.5" is a nice fit.
I have been asking G to make a 10.5 rail for a LONG time and every time I get a no chance answer.
It's really sad they won't make one though as mod 1 MK-1 is a classic and needs a new little brother.
