Much to say about this but no time at the moment other than to post a few vids. But-- what we knew as the Second Chance Bowling Pin Shoot, or the Second Chance Police Combat Shoot, which ran for some 25 years until 1998, is now The Pinshoot put on by Armor Express.

This brings back memories.
We shot a PPC course of fire for qualification for years. I competed at PPC for quite a few years to keep myself sharp. In the mid 1980's I started to shoot the occasional bowling pin match to work on speed under pressure. Some clubs deviated from a traditional bowling pin shoot and held side (money) matches. The course was modified to require starting with a holstered weapon and making at least one reload. It was fun and useful before I starting shooting IPSC matches.
