these arent exactly the originals. these arent mil-spec. no steel in the locking lugs or feed lips.
also, almost as long as a 45 round rpk mag and to wide to let a folding stock fold.
I believe the Russians have some steel reinforced 50-rounders in limited use. Apparently the 60s were trying to push too much mass to be as reliable as they wanted them to be.
they now have the 96rd 5.45 drums being issued with the new AKs and RPK QD barrel change rifle. i'd love to snag one of those some how.

I'm surprised the bag of exploding, syphilitic dicks at State Department even allowed these into the country under ITAR and present sanctions...
I bought one of these. It didn't fit into either of my rifles (Bulgarian krinkov and an Arsenal) and the plastic was very thin and cheap. The locking tab was tiny and did not inspire confidence. I returned it.
