I already have a 5.56 DD lower and I'm really liking the flared lower, are they stamping their 6.8 rifle lowers 6.8 or multi? I don't believe anyone is selling those stripped anyway.
Are there any multi stamped lowers around with a flared mag well?

The new Noveske Forged flared lower would work well too. Not sure if they are offered yet stripped but they plan to be by Summer.

That's pretty slick.
We don't put caliber markings on our lowers.
I asked someone at DD and he said they were not making any more lowers stamped 5.56 all future lowers were being stamped MULTI (this was a few months ago) so I would guess that guns (and lowers if they ever ship again) should now be labeled MULTI.
I never understood the "multi" caliber. It is not needed for any legal requirement so I don't know why it is there at all.
THE caliber still must be on the receiver, frame, or barrel.
The DD lowers are nice, but are simply using a different angle on the magwell. I'm not sure that really qualifies as flared, especially if you compare if to an actual flared lower like the Noveske FFL.

Stick,
Your photos do not make the wait for the new Noveske lower any easier. Every time I see your pictures I check Noveske's website and come away unhappy........I know it's worth the wait.
