Not exactly "trench" art, but still cool, I have an ash tray my grandfather made from a piston out of a Japanese Zero that struck his ship, the USS Kidd. I've got pics somewhere and if I can find them, I'll post them.
I'd like to see that.

If I ever get a chance, I'd love to get down to the Kidd. My grandfather was an SF1 between 9/43 to 10/45 and worked to prevent the ship from sinking when it was struck by the kamikaze.
