Fastest trigger finger there is, and that being said with using a crappy trigger.
I would say that I am more accurate with the 18", not so much because of the rifle but because of the optics. A thread on another forum states that the Dot size on my Mepro 21 (IDF rifle) is 4.5 moa. The ACOG is the RCO M4 (Chevron reticle) is definitely a more accurate sight for distance.
I really want one of these, but it will be a long time.
I'll take the risk of a novice's question: Is there a functional reason that the trigger guard is so large? Is it designed that way to protect the knuckles? I think I recall seeing videos of using the stock as a striking weapon - does this offer 'polymer knuckles' for use in striking?
It is a very interesting rifle, and I hope to be able to get one of these one day in FDE. Thanks.
Thanks for the quick response. I like when form follows function - makes me want a Tavor even more.
I missed Jer's comment...I guess I missed it going through this long thread!
I'll track it down, and thanks again.
Oops - senility setting in - I'll look TWO posts up!
Good news, everybody!
Geissele is supposed to be developing a trigger for the Tavor.
And that's something no other bullpup can claim!
Source.

G and R has some 18" models in stock.
I will order a Tavor this coming week but wanted to know if anyone knows if there is an accuracy difference in the 16 and 18? I like the Tavor for the short length but wondered if the extra 2 inches made a difference in accuracy. First hand accounts are always nice to hear :)
Thank you
I have a 16" and don't think their will be a practical difference in accuracy between the two models.
Where the 2" shorter length is something I like.
I don't view the Tavor as a tack driver, if I want a 5.56 tack driver then give me the AR platform.
