True.. but trying to change specs on a gun without prior knowledge is a little over the top, if i were in question of something like this the internet is everywhere all ya gotta do is ask.

Well, you know how it is: the only thing worse than having no idea what you are doing is thinking that you know what you are doing when you really have no idea.
Or so I've heard. ;)

There are three things in this world that should require an IQ test:
1. Reproducing
2. Posting or blogging on the internet
3. Dremel Tools
I surmise this is his first AR purchase?
Given the recent uptick in AR interest from the general population, I would suspect more of this will be occuring...
I dremel'd some vent holes in my ejection port cover the other day. I thought it turned out well... it helps cool the bolt even with the door closed. :jester:
But seriously... i did have to dremel the edge of the ejection port cover VERY slightly because it was getting caught up on the receiver  . They are noveske marked but i honestly don't know where they are sourced from. I should have known better than to buy some fancy e.p cover so hitting it with the dremel made me feel a little less uppity anyways

I only allowed my Dremel tool near my sons' pinewood derby cars. For safety's sake. :p
I work part time in a LGS. These nice folks came in with their bolt action .22 that had a case stuck in the chamber. It was the wife's gun and she was really disappointed. They were greatly surprised to learn that it was a .17HMR instead of a .22, knocked the case out, sold them some correct ammo and they haven't been back. Learn to read people, learn to read. LOL
Soon to be followed by another angry email regarding said rifle's unreliabililty. :cray:
i wonder what else this guy has dremeled out? :secret: im going to have to share this with my buddies!
I'd honestly send him a link to his thread.sometimes the only thing that can fix know it all stupidity is embarrassment
LOL, shoulda just busted out the large die grinder and really destroyed it...
Using a Dremel is silly when, for a couple bucks more, you could have a Sawzall and a sledgehammer
