I'm a big fan of thin and light (but I like my ladies built like Christina Hendricks - go figure). I've had several Leeks, and like most people, I have snapped the tip off. I usually just grind the tip to a useful shape and then drive on. I don't use my Leek like some of my drop points anymore, as the blade is excellent for cutting and slicing, but not for anything else.
The Streamlight Microstream is a new addition, and I'm upset I didn't discover it sooner. It provides more than enough useful light for day to day use and disappears in a pocket. While it doesn't hold a candle to my Surefires, I don't expect it to. Also at 10-15 bucks online I can afford to loose it and get another if need be.
