edit: Found it while browsing pistol forum from when Voodoo posted that photo there. Looks like the kickstarter company has their own page now called bigidesign and yes the "I" there is meant to be there.

Lots of great small lights out there now. I have several from Fenix and Olight that put out great lighting and are very small.

Check out the Fenix LD02 and the Olight S1 baton. You shouldn't have any problems fitting either of those anywhere you need to put them.

For a light and pen, I carry a Fisher Space Pen, Surefire EB1, and Surefire Sidekick.

The EB1 is the defensive light, the Sidekick is the utility light, the Fisher is just forgettably small, but reliable and writes like a full-sized pen when you flip the cap. The three together are like, half an ounce heavier than the G2X alone.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have my light mfrs. narrowed to Olight, Fenix, Quark & Surefire. Ideally, I would have a light 3-4" long, under 1" diameter and a 250-300 hi and 50-100 low outputs running CR123s. Currently torn between multiple lights.

I just looked the Space pen up and have it in my cart on Amazon, likely to be followed by a light. Ironically, my CRKT uses the same refills as the Space pen & writes great. It is just too long. I do like the Surefire Sidekick, may have to get one....
