Wink Santa helped me out with my build!

I got the upgrades I asked Santa for. I went with a different buttstock, waiting for the Magpul UBR to get on the market.

    RRA Upper and Lower
YHM gas block, flip front sight
    ARMS 40L rear BUIS
    Aimpoint ML2
    Eotech 512
    Barska 1x30mm M4 scope
    Magpul MIAD kit
    CAA buttstock
    CAA vertical grip
    magpul ladder rail covers

I just have to ask "Why the Barfska?" You have the Aimpoint and the Eotech.

Looks good. What's new, just the stock?

You shoulda begged Santa to shop earlier for you and jump in on the UBR preproduction run...

thanks. the Barfska?? is similar to the Acog. I couldn't drop another 1000 on a scope. Wife had priorities as well. By the time I got onto the prepro ubr site, I was too late. I am patient.

I may just wait and get an SBR done with all the other goodies. this is the first build, had to have some fun with it.

You said the Barska is a 1x and therefore is only similar to the ACOG in the looks department- not unlike many of the other clones. I don't want to start a clone war but you already have two of the best 1x optics- the Barska just seems a bad choice.

Actually not a "bad" choice per se but there isn't anything good about it, right?

sorry, supposed to be an "edit"

no, not anything bad about it. It doesn't compare to the other two. My significant other feels that if it looks the same, and its cheaper, "why not"? Well, this is part of my life. Now I have to prove how inferior it is, so I can justifiy the ACOG. You are correct, no reason to have it at all.

Still doesn't sound like having it will allow you to prove you should be able to buy something else.

That's a Bravo Company 11.5" with a DD 9.0 Freefloat. KAC flipup BUISs.

All on a Noveske SBR'd lower w/ the UBR.

I've already (since that picture was taken Sunday) put the barrel into my MUR-1 upper and installed the DD Omega rail and Vltor Gas block/flipup.

    Pics soon!

Buying things to try them out with a hand-me-down to place them on later is a handy thing to have!
