My first rifle

Hey all! I have been lurking here for quite a while, gaining info and reading all sorts of good things. With the help of what I learned here, and from the guys down at Rainier Arms, I put together my first rifle!


Noveske N4 blem lower
Magpul CTR/Mil Spec buffer tube
DPMS LPK (bought before I did enough reading, changing up soon)
Stark Grip (feels good, great size when wearing gloves)
BAD lever(going to take it off and try it for a while, been on since day one)

Rainier Arms Combat series upper (earlier style)
- Billet ultramatch upper reciever
-RA TB BCG
-DD M4 CHF M4 profile 16bbl
-RA XTC comp
-Magpul AFG (going to try to modify it to make it smaller)
-Vltor Light mount
-O-light M21 light (7/80/500 lum/strobe)
-Magpul MOE Handguard Carbine length
-Magpul MBUS
-A2 FSB (F marked)
-Aimpoint PRO (just got today!)

I have the bug and want to do another one, but I am going to train now and enjoy!

Looks good. Glad you did your homework. Got a quality piece there. Only thing I would change is the rear site to a Troy but thats JMO.

Nice rifle!What vltor flashlight mount are you using for the o light?

Warthog - PM'd you, but it is a Vltor Offset Scout mount. The body of the O-light was too small for the Vltor mount for the G-series Surefires (which is what I had intended to get), but this one worked like a champ when we tried it in store down at Rainier. I got the screw style mount, not the QR version.

Dump the Olight as soon as possible, it wont hold up mounted to a rifle, ask me how I know.

Save up for a surefire.
