20rd Pmags w/dust covers in Black/FDE/OD. They're 30/piece but I figured i'd post anyway since Pmags in anything other than black are scarce, especially 20 rounders.

I have a Pelican 1720 case. It's a great case but I have to literally sit on the lid to get it closed on my AR-15. I don't really want to cut out the foam as I use it for different configurations (I have a 20" and 16" carbine and middie as well as a bolt gun, 10-22, etc.) The question is where can I get quality convoluted foam to replace the supplied stuff.
I guess, as a last resort, I can get Pelican's replacement foam kit ($60, ouch) and make multiple inserts but would rather not.
Anybody know a source for suitable foam?
I know this is the rifle section but if anyone sees 9mm bulk ammo FMJ for a decent price (less than $0.30 per round) I'd be interested. I've been looking everywhere but pretty much keep striking out. Thanks
I had good luck here a while back . . . TheFoamFactory.com, but I ordered over $75 to get free shipping. It still might be worth a look.
If I remember correctly, the shipping seems to get pretty expensive at a lot places (relative to the cost of the foam), probably because they have to use relatively large boxes, depending on what you order.
Myself and 3 other friends have been doing this same hunt. The local Gouger Mountain store (Gander Mountain) mailed out a big ad with awesome in-store specials on 5.56, 9mm, and .45. I got coffee and breakfast and went to sit in my truck Saturday morning before they opened. They opened the doors early, people sprinted in, and a large crowd formed and began to circle the ammo shelves like a school of fish. The shelves were empty to begin with; the ad was complete nonsense. A MagTech rep told me "I have 3 years of orders on the books."
I'm honestly not sure you could reload FMJ for $0.30. Gunbroker sales show primers at $0.10, bullets at $0.20, and I didn't even check brass and powder. If you have brass and primers, you might be able to load unjacketed lead bullets for $0.30.
Yes, that is where we are at.
