While we're in agreement, if you live in CA like I do. The choices are very limited...and thus we pay more

I like kittens well enough, but prefer to shoot for the full-sized target felines. Feral cats = reactive targets (so I hear).

Anyways I called Mega and asked directly and they very nicely pointed me to JSE Surplus and Stonefire Arms as the best place to start with a backorder or wait list. He didn't make it sound like Rainier was getting a lot of stuff but I know a few times Rainier has had Mega stuff in stock for almost as long as time-of-flight on a 2000m shot.

It's a local shop in Lawrenceville, GA that doesn't list everything online. I've stopped by twice in the past month and they always seem to have Gen1 and Gen2 lowers, M855 ammo around .60/ea for boxes of 20 and several different FMJ selections, and a selection of quality uppers and barrels (BCM last time I went).

I don't know what their shipping arrangement is but if you're within driving distance it is well worth the trip imo.
