I wouldn't be acting as the BCM spokesman unless you know for a fact they will. The option is usually there and if it's not there may be a reason for that.

OP- I would attempt to contact them first so that you don't have to go through some unnecessary returns. You might also consider getting it and then purchasing the requisite flash hider and sending it to ADCO to do it.

Yeah. After some more digging around and emailing, they won't add the flash suppressor for the Carbine 14.5. Only the middy has that option.

That being said, I'm having it shipped to a different address so as not to attract unwanted attention to what could be an easily assembled SBR. Bringing it to my gunsmith to have it pinned as soon as I get it in.

There is no such thing as what you are describing. In addition it's not an SBR upper until you add it to your lower with a stock attached. Constructive possession is internet nonsense.
