Optimal mounting for an S&B 5-25

I just got my 5-25 from the brown truck today, still waiting on the rifle but in the mean time I was hoping to get some advice on how to mount this beast optimally for long range shooting with a big caliber.
Right now the only 34mm mount I have are a set badger ordinance rings, I don't know anything about the model other than they are marked usmc and one ring is about twice as long as the other, and they seem quite sturdy. I've read good things about spuhr mounts but see they are almost $500 from TNVC, are these setups really necessary or will I be fine with the rings?

What action / caliber are you mounting to ?
Call Marty at BadgerOrd, he should have whatever base you need.
FWIW, here's my S&B 4-16x50 dressed in Badger rings and Badger base:

Going to be most likely going on either a surgeon xl or sako trg in 338 lapua, so the rings are fine in your experience?

Yes, I've always used Badger without issue.
